The Monster Inside Me

"I await the monster inside of me only to realize that I am the monster.

I am all I ever needed. I make my own DESTINY and I wage this WAR against my DARK PASSENGER.

Money can't buy THIS and nobody can take THIS from me!

THIS body is mine and out of it I WILL BUILD THIS MACHINE."

me against me

It's me against me aka a "Hard Man" of reputation with swagger.

I get crap done and outwork people half my age.

I do my all to stack wins daily, I'm that guy.

Mindset is the biggest hack, if you have mental poisoning then you aren't going to achieve but rather procrastinate and stay stuck in the mud.

You have to believe you own stuff, NEVER LIE & only teach what you've solved yourself.

I claim the title of a "COMBINATION MAN": former Wrestler, Combatives practitioner & Tactical Athlete.

It's me against me.

My job is to be the most FUNCTIONAL, TACTICAL, STRONGEST and DANGEROUS son of a gun I can be.

This is to protect myself, those I care about or kick someone's ass if need be.

That is the daily mission.

What drives you?

-Machine out.

The Back Injury - no compromise

I got crap for refusing to listen to the Doctors and friends who told me to be realistic and accept where I was after my 2015 back injury. I will not compromise, I will wake up earlier to do my morning session no matter where I am at or where I'm going. I will not deviate from my mission.

The by-product is you never miss if you never compromise.

Keep your word.

-Machine out.

PRODUCT OF MY TRAINING

I don't train for peoples opinion and I don't train to look jacked either. I look the way I do by the product of my training. I train to see how far I can push this "MACHINE" that God blessed me with. I want to see how far I can take it.

At fit over 50 I train harder, longer and more intense than almost anyone else. I know this and so do they. I can do more than most 25 year olds who by the way are mostly jokers talking about "over-training" instead of actually training.

I do hundreds of Pull-ups, Push-ups, Abdominal Wheels, Strength Training, Combative type training and Conditioning every day.

Blessed to be awake and kick ass daily.

Ya got to stay consistent

Ya got to stay consistent, got to keep that frequency up. I felt rough today, didn't feel like training. But I knew I had to MOVE/GROOVE. It's that frequency piece, opens up that clarity for me. Allows me to stop running mental programs in my head.

I always get IT in wee hours of the morning, today wasn't one of those days. So I still got it in, did it later.

Doesn't have to be some REDLINED SMASH session, 20, 15 minutes is all you need. You got your baseline aka your standards, maybe it's 100 push-ups, 20 pull-ups then you do a workout based off that. Scale it back but hit the deck, drop to the floor and get it in.

There's really no excuse to not get your workout in.

I just don't understand the mindset of the average way of thinking.

Everyone has a floor, hit the floor and start pushing.

Don't ask what my workout was because I do more in 45 minutes than 99% of 25 year old men do in a week.

Facts.

Nuff said,

Coach Mike out.
